R. Kikuo Johnson Paints a Poem by A.E. Stallings

Johnson’s illustrated a beautiful lyrical, single-page take on a poem by A.E. Stallings called “Recitative” that I thought you all might enjoy reading.   He tries some very playful and effective tricks integrating the text of the poem into the scene of each panel.
